Our Lord Jesus Christ has saved us from our sins. As his people, let us call out to him:
Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on us.
Lord Christ, we pray for your holy Church; you gave yourself up to make it holy, washing it clean by water and the life-giving word,
— renew it constantly, and purify it by penance.
Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on us.
Good Master, show young people the way you have chosen for each of them,
— may they walk in it, and find fulfillment.
Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on us.
In your compassion you healed all forms of sickness; bring hope to the sick and raise them up,
— teach us to love and care for them.
Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on us.
Make us mindful of the dignity you gave us in baptism,
— may we live for you at every moment.
Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on us.
May the dead rise to glory in your peace,
— grant us with them a share in your kingdom.
Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on us.

Act of Spiritual Communion
If you are unable to physically receive Holy Communion, especially in the midst of this pandemic, make a solemn recitation of this Prayer for Spiritual Communion by Saint Alphonsus Maria de Liguori.
In celebration of the 5th Anniversary of The Best Catholic, I decided to discuss this particular topic, which I have not written about before—my Catholic perspective on singleness and finding a spouse. My Reflection offers a list of my advice to Catholic women on what to do while waiting for a spouse, and pointers to consider in defining what a “good man” is. Whether you are a single woman looking for a husband, or you know someone who is, I assure you that you will learn so much from this one of a kind Honest Guide that I wrote in the light of the Catholic Faith.
