In recent months, there has been significant talk within the Catholic community about some End Times prophecies slated for this October, the month of the Holy Rosary, notably those coming from sources yet to be approved by the Church. Even though I wasn’t actively seeking out such narratives, the widespread buzz and the thousands (to hundreds of thousands) of YouTube views related to this ensured this ‘news’ reached me. Typically, I opt to distance myself from unapproved seers and revelations. However, the accounts of “Fr. Oliveira” (who has chosen to remain anonymous) and an unnamed nun, as communicated by Mr. Lucio Gelasio from Brazil, have prompted a deeper reflection within me.
The unfolding of my own spiritual journey, marked by instances where I’ve felt God imparting prophetic insights to me, combined with the prevailing climate within the Catholic Church, has urged me to consider and discern these revelations.
Here are the summarized versions of the prophecies for October:
1. Fr. Oliveira’s Prophecy:
Father Oliveira, during a divine locution before the image of Our Lady of Fatima, received a grave warning from the Blessed Virgin. He was told that “The Great Tribulation,” a prophecy long held in our Church Tradition, is slated to commence in October 2023. This revelation is believed to be interconnected with the Church-approved Marian prophecies, notably those emanating from the Apparitions in La Salette, France, Fatima, Portugal, and the yet-to-be-confirmed apparitions in Garabandal, Spain. The unfolding of this tribulation is expected to be marked by intensifying military conflicts, natural disasters, and a surge in both physical and spiritual afflictions. Specifically, on October 13, the Anniversary of the sixth and final apparition of Our Lady of Fatima, the Blessed Mother is anticipated to manifest a sign. It remains uncertain whether this profound revelation will be personal to Fr. Oliveira or shared with the world at large. In preparation and as a refuge during these anticipated tumultuous times, the faithful are encouraged to seek solace and strength in sacramentals, Eucharistic Adoration, and the Holy Rosary.1
2. The First Prophecy of the Nun:
The nun recounted a dream in which a young boy from Purgatory who was an altar boy during his earthly life forewarned of a catastrophic global event, marking the dawn of the end times. A prominent, worldwide rainbow would herald both the calamity and the enduring hope offered by the Lord’s unwavering presence and support.2
3. The Second Prophecy of the Nun:
In a subsequent revelation, the nun conveyed a message from Our Lord about intensifying conflicts set to burgeon into World War 3 this October. The triggering event would be the explosion of a “dangerous artifact” in the City of Sun, Poland. Given the context, it could potentially imply a nuclear weapon, though this interpretation remains speculative. The conflict, though global, would find its conclusion through Japan’s mediation, underscoring the transformative power of forgiveness.
This nun also has 5 other prophecies which are not necessarily for October, and this explosion of a “dangerous artifact” is the 6th and the last so far and specifically mentioned for October.3

Reasons for Skepticism: Assessing the Credibility of Fr. Oliveira and the Unnamed Nun
1. Anonymity Raises Questions
A significant point of contention is the anonymity of “Fr. Oliveira” and the unnamed nun. Numerous Catholic authors and commentators often emphasize that mystics who claim to have public revelations typically reveal their identities to foster transparency and credibility. In this case, however, both figures communicate exclusively through Mr. Lucas Gelasio, a mediator of their alleged prophecies. While Mr. Gelasio is a verifiable individual with a digital footprint, the concealed identities of the alleged visionaries might complicate the process of discernment. Without the ability to conduct interviews or have direct engagement with the alleged visionaries through journalists or official inquiries from Church authorities, it becomes complex to ascertain their genuine purpose for wanting to disseminate these prophecies to the world. The lack of direct communication inhibits a comprehensive assessment of the authenticity of the messages, making the establishment of credibility challenging.
2. Inconsistency in Prophecies
A further complication emerges from the conflicting nature of the messages relayed. Mr. Gelasio, the intermediary for these revelations, is faced with the challenge of reconciling disparate narratives. Fr. Oliveira was told that the Great Tribulation “will not start with thunder, but will be gradual and will spread slowly throughout the world,” a contrast to the nun’s alarming prophecy of an imminent World War 3 triggered by the detonation of a “dangerous artifact” — a scenario that undeniably aligns more with a dramatic “thunder” rather than a slow unfoldment.
3. The World’s Apparent Complacency
Furthermore, at first glance, the current global landscape might not appear to align with the severe and imminent doom depicted in these prophecies. Society, engrossed in various vices, seems chiefly focused on the pursuit of material and sensory gratifications; people are heavily invested in their lives to risk losing them. World leaders, driven by self-preservation and egotism, tend to exercise caution to avoid escalating conflicts into full-blown or nuclear confrontations. This observed reality contrasts starkly with the grim forecasts delivered by Fr. Oliveira and the unnamed nun, adding another layer of complexity to the process of validation and acceptance of these prophetic messages.
4. Absence of Ecclesiastical Endorsement
One of the foundational elements in validating private revelations within the Catholic faith is the scrutiny and endorsement by ecclesiastical authorities. The silence or lack of official recognition from the Church concerning Fr. Oliveira and the nun’s prophecies raises significant questions. The Church, in her wisdom, subjects such revelations to thorough examination, ensuring they align with doctrinal and theological tenets before offering any form of endorsement.
5. The Element of Fear
Prophetic messages that incite fear or anxiety, particularly those predicting catastrophic events or tribulations, should be approached with caution. The essence of divine messages, historically, is rooted in fostering spiritual growth, enhancing faith, and promoting the universal call to holiness. If the messages from Fr. Oliveira and the nun predominantly incite fear or despair rather than encouragement, hope, and a call to repentance and spiritual renewal, it might indicate a need for deeper discernment.
Reasons to Consider the Prophecies of Fr. Oliveira and the Nun
1. The Credibility of Mr. Lucas Gelasio
Despite the anonymity of Fr. Oliveira and the nun, Mr. Lucas Gelasio serves as their public representative. In my observation, Gelasio’s professional demeanor, as seen in his YouTube videos, exemplifies grace and respect, which in turn adds a layer of credibility to the messages he shares. The respectful manner in which he presents these prophecies prompts viewers to consider them with seriousness and reflection.
2. My Personal Prophetic Experiences
Yes, Fr. Oliveira and the nun are not publicly known, unlike our holy Catholic Mystics before who were commonly popular in their towns or countries. But I believe and know that God speaks prophecies in secret for a reason only known to Him… as I believe that it has happened to me in the past… and is still happening to me at the present.
I spoke about it only briefly in one of my Covid-19 articles. Back then I thought that there was a better time to write about it. And I believe the time is now.
During the 1990s and up to the early 2000s, growing up, what I loved about Holy Week in Manila was the silence that people observed. Even Filipinos of other religions respected that and remained inside their homes (except those who enjoyed beaches and vacation trips on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, which I think was of demonic influence in truth.) This type of silence only occurred during Holy Week, not at any other time throughout the year. Streets were nearly empty, with few people and vehicles around. All businesses were closed, and even local radio and TV stations went off the air, leading to a notable level of quiet that left many people bored.
I remembered the local sparrows had a particular chirping that seemed to only occur during Holy Week, a sentiment I agreed with. It was not during the whole summer, but for some reason, only during Holy Week. This demonstrated how all creatures and nature, like in the Canticle from the Book of Daniel 3:57-88, 56 in Divine Office, bless the Lord.
“All you birds of the air, bless the Lord. All you beasts, wild and tame, bless the Lord. You sons of men, bless the Lord.”
~ Daniel 3:80-82
The last time of almost complete silence of Holy Week I clearly remembered was in 2006 when I was 17 years old. I had just finished my first year in college at the University of Santo Tomas, getting ready for summer vacation. I vividly remembered the silence that Holy Monday brought as our class was getting the required signatures from our professors.
But in all the Holy Weeks after 2006, everything suddenly changed; fast food restaurants were now open even on Good Friday, vehicles caused traffic, and neighbors played loud music and chatted, even on Good Friday.
As years went by, I always found myself longing for the holy silence that enveloped every Holy Week.
Little did I know, a similar silence would revisit me years later. In the first week of January 2020, I experienced something profound that I can only articulate as God communicating directly to my heart, bestowing upon me what I am inclined to describe as prophetic insights or experiences. It’s important to distinguish that this wasn’t the typical experience of discerning God’s voice during prayer. Instead, this experience was unique; it had a clarity that felt beyond my usual prayer discernments, suggesting prophetic revelations. It was more direct and distinct than what I had previously encountered in my spiritual journey, as if God intended to impart to me an exact and specific message.
Amidst all sorts of noise in the Philippines, I noticed something in me—I felt deep within the silence resembling that same silence of the Holy Week of yesteryears I experienced during Holy Week. To me, it almost felt like emptiness. It perplexed me a lot. In this country, noise is more common everywhere unless perhaps you live in the most exclusive mansions or subdivisions for the wealthiest. What puzzled me was how I felt such deep silence within me amidst all the noise. It’s something I’ve never felt before. I felt compelled to share about this with my family.
Though I didn’t have any explanation straight away, I remained to continuously pray about it until I suddenly had this discernment that something was ‘amiss’ with the environment.
When I corrected my sleeping habits years ago, it made me dream much less. So whenever I dream, it often feels important. (See my article about St. Joseph and my dream.) That’s why as I felt that unsettling silence, it got me curious why at the same time, I had a recurring dream about a crescent Moon with sparkles and an apocalyptic look, as people were rushing to get home because they knew “the end” was near. Only the settings kept changing – sometimes I was out on a road with my family, at times, I was commuting with my family (I don’t commute in real life), and people were queuing to commute to get home due to the impending apocalypse. Often, it was in a Catholic Church I had never been to in real life. I wondered if there was going to be an earthquake or a personal tragedy (which thankfully, there wasn’t). I thought, ‘Am I going to die?’ because I felt that something ominous was looming.
Looking back, I remember that there was a bit of news on the coronavirus in China at the time, but it was not popular, and people were still ignoring it. It definitely was not making headlines yet.
As I continued my prayers, I already knew that God was telling me that it was not about me personally but it was something about the world.
In addition to silence and the recurring dreams, which all went on in the next couple of months, and two weeks before the lockdown in mid-March 2020, I continuously kept hearing a melody of a music containing just a few notes day and night, played by an instrument resembling an alarm or a siren. I did hear the music, but I knew it was not coming from the physical reality, but instead it was inside; that I was hearing it spiritually.
Initially, I panicked and questioned my health. But I knew in my heart that I shouldn’t be disturbed about this music because I perceived it as something spiritual.
When Covid happened, to the shock of all, the whole world went into lockdown, and sadly, many deaths occurred. Around the second week of lockdown, one day, I took a nap, and when I woke up, the music I kept hearing was gone, and it never came back. At that time, all my apocalyptic dreams ceased as well.
Then I felt this certainty, along with an inner peace, that God wanted to alert me in a prophetic message of the coming pandemic, the lockdown, and the deaths. The rest of that year, something that never happened in the Philippines before happened—there was total silence. Even people everywhere (who commonly lingered outside their homes to gossip with their neighbors) stayed mostly indoors for the rest of that year. It was a complete ‘Silent Night’ during Christmas, evoking the tranquility depicted in a most beloved carol. Even in the New Year, a time typically marked by the noise of firecrackers, blaring karaoke, and incessant chatter, the intense silence prevailed.
My discernment led me to believe that God wanted me to experience a profound silence, reminiscent of the Holy Weeks of the past, as a foreshadowing of the upcoming pandemic.
I believe I understand why He chose to reveal this to me in advance. I am also confident that His intention was for me to intensify my prayers during that period. I fervently prayed for my own life, the well-being of my family, and the safety of others.
Now, fast forward to the present—I’ve been recently experiencing lingering symptoms from Covid, which have caused me to fall behind on the substantial amount of work I was expected to complete.
In May this year, I got Covid for the first time. And yes, I’m unvaccinated (but my family member who is, caught a very bad case of Covid too). Covid was unlike any other fever or flu I had (the only flu that I could somewhat compare it with was the one I got on a trip to the United States in the winter of 2018.) The symptoms were stronger than any symptoms of illness I ever knew. I really thought I was going to die; my family and I were fearing that I could probably die because of this Covid. I remember on the last Pentecost on May 28, I intended to watch the Mass of Pope Francis on TV in the Vatican, and just clung to the Miraculous Medal I was wearing because that’s when I started to get worse and found it harder and harder to breathe.
I will spare you the details for now about the rest of my Covid battle, but it was truly a miracle that God gave me another chance to live after contracting Covid.
Throughout my three decades of life, I’ve “cheated death,” as they say, a few times. I have even received the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick more than once many years ago due to spiritual sickness, addressed by our Catholic Exorcists, a story I might share with you at some point. However, God allowed me to live. It is an act of immense grace that He let me live again after battling Covid this year. I feel in my heart that I have a greater mission in this earthly life, and I pray to be able to accomplish that with His grace.
It could be attributed to Covid or not, but during the pandemic, and even after my recovery from Covid, those apocalyptic dreams, including a few featuring an apocalyptic Moon, returned. It’s important to note, I no longer hear that distinct sound I used to in 2020, nor do I feel that profound silence. Instead, I am persistently gripped by a feeling that ‘time is running out.’ It isn’t related to a personal deadline or life event—I am convinced God has imparted to my heart a message that the world’s time is dwindling. This sense of urgency isn’t a fleeting emotion but is something I discern as a prophetic message from God.
Let me share with you a few of the recurring dreams of an apocalyptic nature regarding the Moon; I see the Moon in those recurring dreams, sometimes with stars, and they had this apocalyptic glow in them.
In one dream, I was with my family in our family home, and we were sitting on the floor with terrified strangers, who we welcomed into our house. I knew that there was going to be an apocalypse. And as I looked out, I saw a large Moon with apocalyptic sparkles and on it was the Map of the World.
In another dream, I was with my estranged cousin, whom I grew up with; we were classmates from Grade 1 up to High School in the same Private School. We had many memories together, and I’m so thankful to her for her company back then (even though we had other common friends). There were times she helped me in particular moments in High School that I wouldn’t have known what to do without her at the time. In my dream, we were in a mall together to hang out and enjoy. I remember I was still holding a cold drink in a cup. Then we suddenly saw the Moon with apocalyptic sparkles coming towards Earth. People were in a panic to get home, but we were told by a security guard that the world was certainly going to end in hours, and there was no time to get home. We were also told that some people were trying to escape through rocket ships to space if they could, but most likely, the world would have ended by then. We went to a corner, and I sadly called my family to say goodbye. I was saddened by the thought that I would spend the end of the world without them. But there’s one thing that disturbed me the most—I was too terrified of the thought that Jesus was coming and going to judge me on this very day. In my prayer, I was rushing to pray, asking for forgiveness for any sins I might have unknowingly committed, and for all that I was aware of, even the things I have already confessed before. But my fear was severe, something that made me tremble. I was sure He was going to judge me later when the world ended. I woke up just as the Moon was about to hit the Earth. I keep this in my heart now, as this might be the feeling when God is about to judge us at the point of death or at His Second Coming. That’s why I always pray to be as faultless as possible until that day comes.
And in my most recent apocalyptic dream, I had to leave the house, knowing time was running out because of the Apocalypse, and I wanted to bring a few mementos with me. But I knew I didn’t have time to bring any stuff. Then I saw in my home altar the Angel figurine covering his ears (I put it on display inside a glass-door cabinet in real life). Underneath him is a banner that says, “Hear no evil.” It was among my mom’s gifts to me on my 10th birthday (Well, I know that phrase is not of Catholic origin, but my mom did not know that back then). In my dream, I knew that this was the only thing I wanted to and was going to bring. Mind you, it surprised me to even dream about that particular Angel figurine because I have many other Angel figurines and haven’t been thinking of this particular one much.
Until a few weeks ago, I learned about Fr. Oliveira in forums, articles, and YouTube videos. I thought, ‘What if Fr. Oliveira’s visions are related to mine? What if his visions should be considered because personally, I have been feeling the same?’
I also noticed a spike in the number of Catholics claiming in the comments sections and forums, and some who are authors and have websites or blogs, that they have had dreams of apocalyptic nature either recently or in these last years. Is it because I and these other Catholics are just being submerged by the flood of evil these days, like the woke culture and the perversion in the world, or is God really telling all of us something?
Along with my prophetic insights, God shows me personal signs in different means, which I will keep to myself for now.
I don’t want to get ‘judged’ or be misunderstood as claiming an absolute truth, or that I’m inventing stories about prophetic insights or messages from God to me. I am merely sharing personal experiences and feelings that I hold deeply in my heart, believing they are from God. I am fully aware that I could be mistaken or deceived, yet the conviction that God is communicating with me persists. While I am confident in my experiences, I also recognize and respect that others might interpret them differently or have varied opinions on prophetic insights. Only time will tell the true nature of these experiences. In the midst of this, I remain open to dialogue and am eager to hear diverse perspectives.
What I have learned about my own prophetic experiences is that indeed, anything is possible with God. I want to stay on the path to holiness, but I’m definitely an imperfect person, and the Mystics of the Church are a thousand times holier than me. But I believe that God speaks prophecies privately in the hearts of His faithful people and humble servants—in secret. I think that in some specific cases or occasions, it doesn’t have to be like the Mystics of the Church who were popular in their towns and countries, according to God’s Plan and Will. So, Fr. Oliveira might actually have been experiencing what I had.
“And it shall come to pass after this, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy: your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.”
~ Joel 2:28
Although there is a big difference between me and Fr. Oliveira, which gives me another reason to discern him with caution—the Blessed Mother is speaking to him as an Internal Locution, with audible voice and words, as a form of mysticism in Catholic terms. But I want to clarify that I don’t receive Internal Locutions, and God and the Saints do not let me hear their Voices.
3. The Recent Israel-Palestine Conflict and its Timing
Last Saturday, while I was relaxing with my mom and my sister, our interest led us to search for a video discussing Catholic end times prophecies, including those of Fr. Oliveira, influenced by the growing discussions within the Catholic community. In this moment that we were altogether, we were graced with an amazing sign from Our Lady of the Holy Rosary (revered in the Philippines as Our Lady of La Naval, under the care of the Dominicans and with whom my family has had a devotion to for several years now) on her Feast Day itself. The details of the sign, I choose to hold close for now, gave us much joy. Still together, immersed in the afterglow of this experience, our attention was abruptly captured by breaking news of an escalating conflict between Israel and Palestine. The timing of this intensification in hostilities, unfolding precisely on the Feast of the Blessed Mother, wasn’t lost on me. This is no ordinary date; it goes back to the pivotal Battle of Lepanto when Catholics, aided by the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, triumphed over Muslims.
Intriguingly, on this same day, a devastating 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck Afghanistan, a country marked by both a Muslim majority and ongoing conflict, claiming the lives of over 2,000 people.
This recent conflict between Israel and Palestine isn’t isolated from historical or religious contexts. It’s a powerful reminder of long-standing tensions, not merely political but deeply rooted in religious and territorial convictions. The fighting is centered around areas of profound historical and religious significance, including the contested Temple Mount, a site sacred to both Jews and Muslims.
Historically, the Temple Mount in Jerusalem was the location of the Second Temple, the very temple Jesus referred to in His Olivet Discourse. He predicted its destruction, a prophecy that came to pass in 70 AD when the Romans, under the future Emperor Titus, laid siege to Jerusalem. The temple was destroyed, an event that has been deeply-ingrained in the historical and religious consciousness of the Jewish people.
In light of these historical and scriptural contexts, the initiation of a full-scale conflict on a day marked by holy victory in history could be considered more than a coincidence. It aligns with deeply-rooted narratives of spiritual and territorial disputes that have spanned centuries.
So, as the world watches the developing hostilities in a region so central to the Bible, is this mere coincidence, or a sign, perhaps subtle yet profound, validating the eerie prophecies shared by Fr. Oliveira and the nun?
“When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near.”
~ Luke 21:20
4. Pope Francis and the Synod on Synodality in the Catholic Church
The Catholic Church is in a dire state, a condition exacerbated by ongoing scandals and the questionable actions and decisions of Pope Francis. Many Catholics, myself included, are unsettled by his associations and close friendships with individuals and groups at odds with core Catholic teachings, including abortionists, freemasons, pedophiles, homosexual priests, bishops and other gay people, communists, eugenicists and other anti-Catholics. The endorsement of the deceiver social media famous Fr. James Martin, who unashamedly promotes homosexuality and in actuality, encourages people to be homosexual and LGBTQIA, rampantly tweaks the Church teachings, and vehemently spreads false Gospel about homosexuality on his articles and other online presence like X (formerly Twitter), adds to the disquiet. Every time I come across him, he is obviously bragging about being in a meeting with Pope Francis, some of which are even “closed-door” meetings.
In the midst of this is the “Synod on Synodality.” Conchita Gonzales, the visionary of the alleged Garabandal apparitions, is said to have mentioned that the “Warning” (which is another topic) before the Great Tribulation will start during a “synod.” To be honest, I do not have a stand on whether to believe that the Blessed Mother appeared in Garabandal, Spain. This Synod, a gathering shrouded in ambiguity, raises fears that it may herald significant changes to Catholic doctrines. The ambiguity surrounding the term “synodality” feeds suspicions of a strategic shift, aligning the Church more with contemporary, secular values than with its foundational teachings.
The topics of blessing same-sex unions and the potential ordination of women, subjects of contention in the Synod, are expected to seriously influence the Catholic Church’s future. In a time where bishops should guide their congregations toward conversion and repentance, the debates surrounding the endorsement or blessing of unions, traditionally seen as contrary to Catholic doctrine, swell divisions within the Church.
The disquiet is, I think, further heightened by the Pope’s decision to invite representatives from diverse religious backgrounds to the prayer vigil. I liken this move towards inclusivity to inviting ‘frienemies’ to one’s own birthday party. Did they really think these people would genuinely wish and pray for their well-being and happiness? I personally don’t believe these leaders of other religions would be sincere towards their lifelong ‘frienemy’ or enemy, the Catholic Church.
However, there is a silver lining to the Synod. It provides a transparent view of the intentions and plans of our Church leaders, divulging what has previously been concealed or ambiguous. This unmasking is crucial for the faithful, offering insights into the individuals steering the Church and the direction they are taking it. As Pope Gregory the Great noted,
“It is better that scandals arise than the truth be suppressed.”
In this context, the Synod serves as a revelation, an opportunity for the faithful to discern, evaluate, and respond to the unfolding narrative within the Church with informed awareness and conviction.
5. The Prophetic Messages of the Fatima and Akita Apparitions
In the current turbulent spiritual and institutional environment, the Catholic Church is undergoing severe trials and tribulations. These challenging times bring to focus the prophecies delivered during the Fatima Apparitions. The Blessed Virgin Mary’s revelations during these apparitions unveiled a series of Chastisements leading to a glorious “Era of Peace.”
“If my requests are heeded, Russia will be converted, and there will be peace; if not, she will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred; the Holy Father will have much to suffer; various nations will be annihilated. In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, and she shall be converted, and a period of peace will be granted to the world.”
~ Our Lady of Fatima
These revered prophecies resonate in today’s unfolding events, indicating a period of purification and sanctification for the Church. The recent alleged prophecies by Fr. Oliveira and a nun echo the messages of Fatima, underscoring the need for intensified prayer, discernment, and unwavering adherence to the Church’s teachings.
The forthcoming October, shadowed by grave prophecies, amplifies this call to faith and reflection. The prophecies of Fatima are reiterated in the Church-approved Apparition messages delivered to Sister Agnes Katsuko Sasagawa by Our Lady of Akita:
“In order that the world might know His anger, the Heavenly Father is preparing to inflict a great chastisement on all mankind. … the Father will inflict a terrible punishment on all humanity. It will be a punishment greater than the deluge, such as one never seen before. Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so desolate that they will envy the dead. The only arms which will remain for you will be the Rosary and the Sign left by My Son. Each day recite the prayers of the Rosary. With the Rosary, pray for the Pope, the bishops and priests.”
~ Our Lady of Akita
In 2019, another stark warning came after three decades of the Apparitions
“Around 3:30 am on Sunday, October 6, 2019, the same angel that appeared to me (Sister Sasagawa) 30 years ago in Akita appeared.”
The Angel urged Sister Agnes,
“Cover in ashes, and please pray the Penitential Rosary every day. You (Sister Sasagawa) become like a child and every day please give sacrifice.”
This echoes Jonah’s prophecy to Nineveh (Jonah 3:1-10) and underscores the urgency of the message, as Sister Agnes expressed,
“I felt the time is near.”
Fr. Oliveira’s unconfirmed prophecies are attracting attention as the Church faces ongoing challenges and awaits key decisions from the Synod. These predictions align with both current Church events and the earlier messages of Fatima and Akita, sparking serious reflection among Catholics.
Conclusion
We will fully understand the weight and truth of these prophecies as time unfolds. Yet, regardless of what comes from the revelations of Fr. Oliveira and the nun, a deep conviction resides within me – this generation is experiencing crucial and decisive times heading to the End Times. We stand as witnesses to a world spiraling through events echoing ominous prophecies, each marked by the emergence of wars, natural disasters, and significant societal shifts, each intimately connected with Catholic eschatology.
The secular world remains largely unaware that every unfolding event is a step closer to the culmination of Salvation History. Should we attempt to unveil our discernments to them, the skeptics’ refrain is likely to mirror 2 Peter 3:3-4,
“Knowing this first, that in the last days there shall come deceitful scoffers, walking after their own lusts, Saying: Where is his promise or his coming? for since the time that the fathers slept, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.”
Yet, we, fortified by faith, know the Day of the Lord is nearing. It might well dawn upon our generation.
“Watch ye therefore, because ye know not what hour your Lord will come.”
~ Matthew 24:42
Accordingly, in anticipation and vigilance, “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17), and seek to take cover under the Blessed Mother’s mantle of protection. As the anticipation for the Era of Peace and the Second Coming of Jesus lingers, our call is to be profoundly present in this very moment to be able to repent. Some of us are holding on to the past that weighs them down, tempting us to sin or dwell on evil thoughts, but Our loving Father tenderly understands our past and would not judge us based on that. Because when He comes back, He will mightily judge us based on whether we accepted His invitation of love, mercy and forgiveness in the present. We must not feel overwhelmed and anxious about how we would be if we indeed reach the time of Chastisements and the Great Tribulation. For now, live every day with complete trust in God and prayers. In these revelatory times, the simplicity yet profundity of St. Augustine’s words beckons us:
“Trust the past to God’s mercy, the present to God’s love, and the future to God’s providence.”
Saint Joseph, pray for us!
Most Precious Blood of Jesus Christ, save us and the whole world!
Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us!
Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us!
Amen.

1
“Over the course of a few weeks, Father Oliveira felt the presence of the Virgin Mary in the Masses he celebrated. He also had several mystical insights during this period as he felt that he was about to receive a new revelation. On the 17th of June, around 3:10 am, the priest felt that he should go to the chapel. He sat down in front of the image of Our Lady of Fatima, began to receive an inner locution and wrote it down. The [newly] received message organized and complemented those intuitions that were gradually coming to his heart.
Our Lady prophesied that, in October, the period of great tribulation announced in her apparitions would begin, linking it to the Third Secret of Fatima. She announced the advance of [military conflicts], new natural catastrophes, physical ailments and spiritual evils. She also told him there is help in tribulation: the use of sacramentals, Eucharistic Adoration and praying the Holy Rosary. She asked for prayers for priests, bishops and the Roman Pontiff. She exhorted us all to [have] courage and promised her protection.
Our Lady also revealed other very important facts, but asked that this part of the message be shown only to three witnesses. She didn’t explain the reason, but hinted that this will be part of a mission in the future.
Finally, she gave us (Sirach) Ecclesiasticus 18:7-14 to meditate on. The passage speaks of God’s Mercy, which is perfectly present even in the moment of His rebuke. Confident and grateful to the Holy Mother, who, just as she was with her Son during the Passion of the Cross, will be with us during the great tribulation, we can face this period the right way, with love and courage. The Triumph of the Immaculate Heart is near.”
Lucas Gelasio (Brazil)
The locution Fr. Oliveira received from Our Lady of Fatima
Dear son, listen carefully: October this year will begin a period of great tribulation, foreseen by me when I was in France, in Portugal and in Spain. On those three occasions, I spoke about the cause for these [coming] tribulations. Be prepared, above all spiritually, for this period will not start with thunder, but will be gradual and will spread slowly throughout the world. The war [already] started will increase, as you saw above. There will be droughts, great storms and earthquakes in various places in the world. But as My Divine Son says: when you hear rumors, don’t be afraid!
Use the Miraculous Medal always, starting today, and also distribute it to your flock. Illness will not be the only evil that will spread; spiritual evil will be worse. Illness, however, will be a great scourge. Place the Medal of St. Benedict on the door and do not fail to wear the Scapular. Have blessed candles, blessed oil and holy water. Have no more doubts about the Good Samaritan Oil, bless it and use it. Try to maintain the state of grace, because the demons will attack humanity with very strong temptations, above all against the priests. Pray for them and pray for you too, who are also a priest. Always remember who you are! Pray also for your Bishop and for all bishops. Pray a lot for the Holy Father, fasting and making sacrifices for him. I, your Mother and Queen, will be with all those who have entrusted themselves to my care and will not leave any of my children destitute, as I promised many times.
I must alert you: these times are part of what I said in my Third Secret, in Portugal. On October 13th, I will give you a sign, as you asked me; that’s why I showed you that date. I received from God the mission to [stand] guard [along] with the holy angels that the Lord placed at my service, and all those who gave their lives to me. There will be great devastation from Russia, instigated by the Dragon from Hell. This will cause damage to all the world. But you however, fear not! This is the opportune time for holiness. Remember that the great saints appeared in moments of great darkness. Times of tribulation, especially this one, must not be faced with fear and cowardice, but with love and courage. See, son, that is why I have called you in this hour, so that you may remember and announce that the opportune time for holiness is now, today — not tomorrow. Eucharistic Adoration must be your anchor, and the chain of that anchor, the Holy Rosary. Eucharistic Adoration, acts of reparation and sacrifices, united with the Holy Rosary, can change all the prophecies! Don’t forget this: Adoration and the Holy Rosary. Do penance, offer sacrifices for the salvation of souls, for the conversion of sinners and the sanctification of the Clergy.
Remember that the Lord knows everything and commands everything. Soon, the triumph of My Immaculate Heart will arrive! Remain faithful in this time of purification, trust in the help of your Guardian Angel. The time for saints is now. Pray, dear son, pray and watch, as I called you today. Pray and watch. (Ecclesiasticus 18:7-14)

“But this is that which was spoken of by the prophet Joel: And it shall come to pass, in the last days, (saith the Lord,) I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams. And upon my servants indeed, and upon my handmaids will I pour out in those days of my spirit, and they shall prophesy. And I will shew wonders in the heaven above, and signs on the earth beneath: blood and fire, and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and manifest day of the Lord come.” (Acts of the Apostles 2:16-20 Douay)
A few months ago a Northeastern [Brazil] nun contacted me, after talking to her superior. She [wanted to] ask me to help her discern if some phenomena occurring in her life was of divine origin.
I analyzed everything [she told me] carefully and it seemed to me in accordance with the criteria set by the Church. I asked for a personal confirmation and God responded right away. Here is her report.
Lucas Gelasio, Brazil.
A nun had a dream on the night of June 17 …
In the dream, she was in the monastery, sitting, talking to two other sisters. One of them was startled and pointed to a tall window. Outside, where no one would reach, there was a young man about fifteen years old, dressed as an altar boy, with a red tunic and white surplice.
The nun stood up and, along with a sister, approached the window. Her friend asked, “Who are you?” He turned to the other nun and, with a fixed look, replied:
– I come from Purgatory. I was an altar boy in life and came with God’s permission to reveal to you that there is a catastrophic event about to affect the world. It will cause great pains to all humanity. But do not be afraid, the Lord tells you that He is with you.
Before that event happens, there will be a huge rainbow, which will be seen around the world. It will be the sign announcing the tribulation but [it will also signal] the hope that the Lord is with you. This event is part of the end of times.
Then he woke up. It was about ten minutes to midnight. Shocked, he began to pray and grabbed her Bible. She asked her guardian angel:
“If this dream is a truth that was revealed to me, I pray confirm it when you want, through the Word of God.”
Immediately and clearly, the answer came to her heart: “I confirm it, open [your Bible] now!” Obeying, she opened the Bible right on Matthew 24.
The revelation narrated here reminded me of the prophecy of Our Lady of Garabandal about a phenomenon in the sky that, according to the seer Conchita [Gonzalez], its name will start with the letter “A” and will be seen all over the world. [NOTE: The word for “rainbow” in Spanish —the language of the Garabandal seers— is “Arcoiris”. Hence the deduction by Mr. Gelasio.] Let us always be aware that God brings these warnings to us to remind us that He has everything under control, even at the most difficult times. United with Him, we will be strengthened and nothing will disturb us.

On the morning of August 8th, a nun from the Northeast —of whom I have already spoken on a recent occasion— received another revelation. She’s not sure if she was asleep or awake, but she remembers perfectly to have spoken with Our Lord, as it occurs in an interior locution.
— Daughter, conflicts will increase… — then there was a brief silence.
— When, Lord?
— I told you through My Mother and My prophet. It will start in October.
— But how will this come to pass?
— In the City of Sun, in Poland, a dangerous artifact will burst. This will lead other nations to enter into war. Some, because they will be hit; others to fight for their allies.
— Then will it be WW3 worldwide?
— It will be the third major war, but not all nations will enter it. Those that do not enter, they will support the others through prayer. They will be for the most part very Catholic nations.
— And when will this war end?
— It will last a few years, but it will come to an end by the mediation of Japan. This country, which had two cities devastated at the end of the WW2, will demonstrate to the world the strength of forgiveness and, through a heroic act that will put an end to WW3.
The conversation ended there. After praying over what she had experienced, the nun did some research on the city. She found a village called Söl and a town called Nowa Söl. I add that it is possible also that the word “Sun” was not said in Polish, but in Portuguese therefore, it may refer to some city like Wielka Słońca, whose translation would be “Great Sun”. We don’t know which locality the prophecy refers to exactly.
I remind everyone that these revelations are given to us to let us know that God has control over everything, and that we must pray for the punishment to be mitigated or even suppressed. Let us pray for Poland and, in particular, for that location that was here called “Sun City”.

There are people who, seeking to minimize the suffering of others unite themselves to the Cross of Christ, offer themselves to God as expiatory victims. Their sacrifices are accepted by Him, who blesses them with spiritual graces. Some of these victims receive the gift of seeing scenes of future tragedies so that, in advance, they can pray and suffer with the intention of minimizing the suffering that is to come.
During adoration on September 28th, the northeastern nun was given knowledge of six future events:
- A man blows himself up, killing and injuring several people;
- something like a falling star;
- people looking into a big hole in the ground;
- strong winds, storms, violent waves and buildings collapsing due to tremors;
- a large volcano erupting;
- something exploding in Poland.
At the end of the vision, he was given a biblical passage:
I will stand at my watch-post, and station myself on the ramp; I will keep watching to see what he will say to me, and what he will answer concerning my complaint. Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so that a runner can read it. For there is still a vision for the appointed time; it speaks of the end, and does not lie. If it seems to tarry, wait for it; it will surely come, it will not delay. Look at the proud! Their spirit is not right in them, but the righteous live by their faithfulness. (Habakkuk 2, 1-4)
A man blew himself up in Pakistan the day after the vision, leaving dozens of people dead and injured, which seems to have happened in the first scene seen.
The last one probably repeats the revelation that the nun had received on August 8th and that I recently published on this page.
In the book of Habakkuk, God responds to the prophet, who calls for justice, announcing to him that the fulfillment of the prophecy is quickly approaching and giving him the order to write it down. It also announces the fall of the wicked and the prevalence of the righteous.
Let us keep our eyes focused on the promises of the Lord, who will not abandon us in our sufferings, but will come to our help. Let us trust that everything can change through prayer and penance. And let us remember that, along with hope and faith, God also asks us for charity. The righteous will live by faith. And faith, without works, is dead.

Hello, I read all that you wrote. I have had many spiritual occurrences in my life including an illumination of concenscience. I sinned terribly in my past and ha e suffered greatly but was encourage but what was written. I offer up my suffering for the souls that need it and for the lessening of what is to come. I struggle with fasting but pray for the grace to do much better. I also pray for the grace of love and courage and trust as past abuse in my life has damaged me causing me to struggle with fear. I pray that love and courage will continue to replace that fear. I was lead to thiis site and was only encouraged to pray and fast more and to have much compassion for the vicars of Christ. Thank you for your writing and please pray for my family as some are blind and there is division. God Bless You Greatly, Dianne
Hello!
You write beautifully! I enjoyed your article very much. Please bear with my writing.
I implore you to read: “To the Priests,Our Lady’s Beloved Sons”
In it , Our Lady reminds us of our duty to Love,Follow, and Defend the Pope.
Consider the cunning angle the evil one is coming from attempting to divide us from the Holy Father. Catholics are treating him as Jews treated Our Lord. Questioning every move and insisting he was blasphemous while spending time with prostitutes, and tax collectors.
Trust God through His Holy Pontiff. God’s Ways are above our ways. Be Open to God’s Will which may seem shaking to the church but necessary to His Will. Ephphatha.
Thanks for the gentle and vulnerable observations. These seem to be informed by Our Lady’s spirit.
It’s often said as a precautionary that if a prophecy causes fear, it’s suspect. If you read the Old Testament prophets you will see that many of the prophecies were frightening, threatening, and severe. The consequences suffered were also severe. I’m not sure why people who share “prophecy” are always padding it with warnings and instructions about “fear” but if it’s truly from God, then let the chips fall where they may. It seems that “prophecy” is now contingent on the reaction of the majority. If it causes fear, dismiss it. It would be wise to discern the fear. Prophecy may instill a holy fear and be a catalyst for repentance… Which is what the purpose of it may be.
To be honest, most “prophecy” of recent times strikes me as more of a fortune-telling and divination than a catalyst for genuine change. If you’re living the gospel there shouldn’t be any panic or fear. All of these things have been foretold in the Word of God, so there shouldn’t be any confusion, anxiety, or even the nervous excitement that it elicits in people. If we should see a huge, global rainbow as a warning, well then praise and thank God for His providential care. Just don’t sit around waiting for it.
In the autumn of 2018,I had a dream that I was running down a narrow road (like those in Italy or Spain) with buildings with little wrought iron balconies, and there were planes shooting at people and I was running and shouting at people to take cover. People were scattering, sheltering in doorways and homes. I continued running and came upon a thin well dressed man sitting on a chair on a low patio looking towards the horizon with apparent unconcern about the planes and bullets, and before I could speak, he said “It will begin when the sixth seal is broken”. I did not know what this meant and ducked into a doorway. Later, my sister told me to look in the Bible in Revelation, which mentions “seven seals.” (Rev.6:12) says “I watched as the Lamb broke the sixth seal and there was a great earthquake. The sun became as dark as black cloth and the moon became as red as blood”. Many around the world are receiving warnings of various kinds that something is coming upon the world because of our sins but sadly most are not listening, as they did not listen in Noah’s time.
Some years ago my sister and I climbed cross mountain in Medjugorje, as we took a rest beneath the cross my sister and I looked at the sky and saw three massive white halo’s one after the other, these disappeared and then we saw a massive sun appear, the surface was orange/red and like molten lava (huge) we said prayers and promised all sorts, weeping we were so astounded. By this time it had become dark and we were worried about making our way down in such blackness, we need not have worried as the moon seemed to light our way (like a torch). On our way down silent lightning appeared in the sky, the colours were wonderful, red, blue, white constantly streaking and then within the lightening appeared a blood red planet or full moon shape, surrounded by jet black. Reading revelation I believe we saw a vision of the sun as dark as black cloth with the blood moon.
The Feast of Our Lady of Fatima is May 13t, not October 13th.
October 13 is the day of the last appearance of our Lady at Fatima, the day of the “ miracle of the sun”.
I have no way of knowing with certainty whether the messages put forth by Fr. Oliveira are genuine or not. I think it is simply too soon for judgment. However, I was shocked to read the “Bah humbug!” blog post by Carlos Caso-Rosendi this morning. It seems that he did not receive the public miracle that he wanted and has now turned quickly against Fr. Oliveira. Not only does this change of heart seem unjustified, but it reminds me that the people demanded a sign from Jesus, also. He called them an unbelieving generation.
Regardless of what may or may not have happened on the 13th, the well-known events of October THUS FAR (i.e., the Synod, the attacks on Israel, etc.) suggest that the warnings given by multiple seers may be legitimate. And we still have more than half the month remaining.
I’m sorry heaven didn’t meet your expectations, Carlos, but Mary didn’t promise anything to you.
Randy, you and many others have to take a course on text comprehension.
Carlos received information from Rome: Fr. Oliveira has presented fake prophecies before and that is the reason for his anonymity. The October 13 fiasco was originally meant to generate traffic and $$$ for the group but it backfired.
It is so obvious.
Thank you so much for this extremely well-written summary of the many lines of Catholic prophecy that seem to be converging on this time in history. I found what you wrote here very informative and helpful! My family and I pray for our Holy Catholic Church in these unsettling times. Fortunately, no matter what, God will triumph.
Mary,
Excellent and extremely thorough! I appreciate you taking the time to post this article.
Moreover, I was telling my wife tonight about the rainbow mentioned by the sister. There is a sense of completion should this come to pass. The Lord said he would not destroy the world by a flood again and gave the first rainbow as a sign of His pledge. If He should use a rainbow again to signal a worldwide catastrophe, many will recall the origin of God’s covenant with us.
